What is Carmina?

Carmina is a Latin word meaning poetry. We chose this word because it is a simple, lovely word that expresses the whole purpose of this blog - poetry! Each of us keeps track of poems we find or write and put them up on the blog when we get a chance. Sometimes these are poems of our own composition; on less creative days, we simply share the works of others. Either way, we look to bring sunshine into the world with beautiful words.
